With their 4-2 region record and a third place finish in Class 3A region 5, the Bulldogs earned a spot in the playoffs in 2015. Last year the West End Walnut Grove Patriots finished with an overall record of 6-4 and in fifth place in Class 2A region 7. The ended last season on a positive note with a win over Appalachian by a score of 48-15 after failing to gain a playoff spot. Susan Moore and West End Walnut Grove have met a total of 43 times on the football field. The Bulldogs have a 19-24-0 record against the Patriots.
